John Watrous is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, and is a member of the University of Waterloo's Institute for Quantum Computing. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin − Madison in 1998, under the supervision of Eric Bach.
